Synopsis

Homoeroottisella ja muutoin provokatiivisella symboliikalla leikittelevä pitelemätön punk-bändi Turbonegro, näytti alkuaikoinaan keskisormea koko maailmalle ja perusti eräänä päihteiden värittämänä iltana -95 oman fanikerhonsa vitsillä. Siis mitä helv*ttiä? Arvaamaton ja absurdi bändi ansaitsi nopeasti jopa Norjan pahamaineisimpien black metal -bändien kunnioituksen. Kaikki tietävät kyllä Kiss Armyn, mutta mikä on Turbonegron valloilleen päästämä ja maailmanlaajuiseksi ilmiöksi kasvanut myyttinen laivasto, joka tunnetaan provosoivasti nimellä Turbojugend? Turbonegron faniuden ytimessä ovat rakkaus ja sisaruus, joka ei katso ikään, ihonväriin tai sukupuoleen. Turbojugendit osaavat todella pitää hauskaa ja vuoden kohokohta on Reeperbahnilla järjestettävä Weltturbojugendtage, jossa usein jugendien joukossa ovat juhlimassa itse Turbonegron jäsenetkin.

A dangerous punk band called Turbonegro (known for playing with homoerotic and otherwise provocative symbolism) extended their middle fingers to the rest of the world." Thus earning the respect of even Norway's most notorious black metal bands in their early days. One intoxicated night in '95 they erected their own fan club as a joke. Everyone knows Kiss Army, but what is this mythical navy they refer to as Turbojugend? What started as a joke is now a global phenomenon. At the heart of it all are love and fraternity that doesn't discriminate anyone on the basis of age, skin color, gender etc. Turbojugends surely know how to have fun and the highlight of their year is Weltturbojugendtage at Hamburg's sinful Reeperbahn, where quite often even the members of the band come to celebrate with thousands of Turbojugends from all corners of the world.
